How is God inviting you to share in God’s work at Holy Trinity? Click on the link below to access our congregation’s Narrative Budget for the year. You’ll see that we’re asking the congregation to “step up” from last year’s budget of $285K to $300K for 2019. Through our new vision, God is inspiring us to start a Wellness Ministry, expand our Hospitality Ministry, renovate the church building, strengthen our support for the wider church, and so much more.
On June 2nd, the neighborhood is having a carry-in picnic at the grove of trees across from the church. More information will be forthcoming. We can’t wait to meet our closest neighbors!
Our church has joined the Riverside/Normal City Neighborhood. Therefore, we can help on Spring Clean-Up Day, Saturday, May 12 from 8am – Noon.
Meet at Grace Lutheran (610 N. Reserve) at 7:50 for donuts and coffee before heading out with the Muncie Sanitary garbage trucks to pick up trash throughout the neighborhood. Follow Riverside/Normal City on Facebook at facebook.com/rncmuncie or on Twitter @thenewnormal.
We had so much fun sewing the dignity pads for Ugandan women that we have scheduled another sewing bee at church on Saturday, May 19 from 10 to 3 with lunch included. This time we’re making mission quilts for Lutheran World Relief. You can Google the instructions in advance, but basically we are going to make checkered tops from 48 squares (6 across, 8 up and down). Then we’ll put a sheet on the back and filler in the middle. You don’t even have to know how to sew. We’ll also need cutters, pressers, pinners, and designers. Put the date on your calendar and stay tuned for more information.
At some time, we believe warmer weather will come. If anyone has winter items--coats, gloves, caps--that they would rather not store over the summer, we will be happy to accept them now for the community distribution in October. A bin for your donations is located in the Narthex. Thank you
A vote will be taken on accepting the new Vision Plan for HTLC.

The daffodils are in bloom around the church. Thanks to everyone who had a hand in planting the 500 bulbs back in the fall to commemorate the 500th anniversary of the Reformation.
